Wanted: Colorist / Online Artist

Wolfstreet is an Amsterdam-based creative and production agency specializing in visual content. We develop powerful campaigns and content for brands and agencies by combining our in-house capabilities: creative development and (post) production. We work for innovative brands: Takeaway.com, Vinted, Adyen, The Vegetarian Butcher, Picnic, and Mastercard.
We’re looking for a talented and detail-driven Colorist / Online Artist to join our post-production team. This is a hybrid role that combines color grading and basic 2D compositing, and finishing. Depending on the project, you’ll be responsible for creating rich, cinematic looks as well as polishing shots through clean-up, compositing, and finishing in post. You’ll work closely with directors, creatives, and producers to bring the final visual layer to life.
You take ownership of the image from lock to delivery, ensuring every frame looks its best and meets broadcast or social platform standards.
You bring in experience in color grading (in DaVinci Resolve) with a strong sense and taste of tone, atmosphere, contrast, texture, and the art of visual storytelling through color. You love the moment when everything comes together – the edit is locked and it’s time to bring the visuals to life. You’re passionate about the craft of filmmaking and know how to handle feedback in a thoughtful and solution-oriented way.
Experience with online/finishing workflows (QC, final mastering, basic retouch or titling) is necessary. Our grading suite is built around DaVinci Resolve Studio with high end dedicated monitoring. Experience with ACES workflows is a plus. We’re open to both mid-level and senior candidates. The role is available for 32-40 hours per week, based on personal preference.
- Lead the color grading process for the majority of all our content.
- Own the finishing stage: QC, versioning, light retouch, and mastering.
- Collaborate closely with editors, other online and VFX artists, creatives and producers to align on visual direction.
- You’re comfortable leading live sessions with clients and directors, guiding the final visual direction while remaining open and solution-focused.
- Maintain and improve technical standards for delivery (online).
- Explore the integration of AI tools for grading workflows and efficiency.
- You have a strong showreel / portfolio that showcases commercial color / grading work across different genres and formats.
- You bring professional experience with DaVinci Resolve, in soft- and hardware and are familiar with color pipelines, LUTs, color spaces, scopes, and delivery standards.
- Have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in post-production, either at a post house, agency, or as a freelancer.
- You’re skilled in Adobe After Effects, experienced with QC, Photoshop and Premiere Pro, versioning, retouching, and online workflows.
- Basic 2D compositing skills – such as clean-up, painting, screen replacements, and light VFX are part of your toolkit.
- You have solid communication skills and a client-friendly mindset.
- An affinity with AI-driven tools is a plus.
- Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a bonus.
- Have a passion for film making and/or photography.
- Creative freedom and ownership over your role.
- The opportunity to work on campaigns for big (inter)national brands.
- Competitive compensation based on experience.
- A retirement savings plan.
- Annual development budget.
- The chance to help shape the future of color grading & finishing at Wolfstreet.
- A color studio in our office in Amsterdam Noord.
- Weekly drinks, regular events, and great team energy.
