Vinted, Europe’s largest marketplace for second-hand fashion, was ready to cross the Atlantic. The brand needed an American audience to understand a very European habit in a single viewing: the clothes hanging unworn in your closet are money you have not spent yet.

Wolfstreet took the brief from idea to broadcast. We wrote the concept, cast and shot it in the United States with director Evan Ari Kelman, and finished every frame in our own post-production. The result is Cash Closet, a series of three films for national US television in which a wardrobe quietly turns into the budget for whatever you have been putting off.

Cash Closet - Lucy
Our approach

The thinking was simple and the execution deliberately was not. Instead of explaining resale, we made the closet the hero. In every film someone opens a wardrobe door and finds no clothes, but the exact thing those clothes could pay for. Lucy opens hers and gets the surf trip she has been postponing.

A trick like that has to look effortless, which means it has to be built to the second. Wolfstreet handled creative, casting and the shoot in the United States. Grade, sound, VFX and every cutdown for TV and social were done in-house in Amsterdam.

One idea, three films, one production line from script to delivery.
