Nobody hands you a manual. You do your best, you get it wrong, and then somebody on the internet shows you a version of parenting you are never going to match.

Blue Band wanted to take some of that pressure off. We built the platform Dan geef je ze wat mee around a simple reassurance: whatever is happening at your kitchen table, it is happening at everybody else’s too. Wolfstreet produced and finished the campaign. Real families, real chaos, and the small moments in between that any parent recognises within half a second.

Our approach

Recognition is the hardest thing to fake on camera. Push it and the scene turns into an advert about parenting; hold back too far and nothing happens at all.

So we cast for chemistry rather than looks, and shot with families in a way that gave the children room to be children: long takes, minimal direction, a crew small enough to forget about. The best moments in the campaign are the ones nobody wrote. Our job was to build a set where they could happen and to have the camera in the right place when they did.

Wolfstreet handled production and post-production: shoot, edit, grade, sound and the full set of deliverables for TV, online and social. One campaign, one tone of voice, every format carrying the same warmth as the film it came from.
